I tried replacing my iPhone screen my self — this is what happened

I recently broke my iPhone and tried searching for the cheap replacement options in my city. It was the older model, but the phone is working perfectly, and the screen replacement is much cheaper than buying a new phone.

I got the quote from Apple, I would have to pay £152.44 and had to wait over a week for an appointment at my nearest area Oxford. I also compare the quotes of third parties’ vendors that may be cheaper, but the consumer reviews fight me to choose the best one.

Then I bought a screen replacement kit from online eCommerce company and tried to get the screen replaced by myself. I had wasted my whole day and make my phone worst from previous situations. Phone was almost dead, and screen got black. I was feeling annoyed and helpless.

Then my wife suggested me to visit the nearest apple store to fix the device. I found an iPhone repair store called as Repair My Phone Today. This repair centre repairs all iPhone models include Macbook, laptop, pc’s etc.

I called them through my landline and book the appointment of same day. They have the onsite repair facility as well. My home is near to cowley road, so their delivery person came in just 20 mins to my home and picked up the device.

After two hours I got the call from the store that my phone has been repaired. I couldn’t believe that they have just fixed my iPhone so fast. I ran towards the store and paid the amount which was also the best price.

They offered me a screen protector free of cost. I thanked the engineer who had fix my iPhone and that time I was happiest man in the city.

If you’re not technically savvy and are dealing with an older iPhone at home, I recommend you to not do that by yourself.
